Mid to dark, super crispy when closed and very versatile. HHX X-Celerator Hi-Hat Cymbals are designed by the Sabian Vault Team to deliver increased speed and crisp, highly defined clarity. While the simmering HHX tonality is generated by the medium-weight top cymbal, the speed and crispness are created by the heavy bottom and its contoured ‘Air Wave’ design. These contours expel air when the cymbals come together, eliminating sound-muting airlock to create a combination of tone and projection.
