Made in Japan, this is one beautiful looking and sounding kit. This is designed for smaller gig but is no toy. It has a 16” x 16”, 9-ply bass drum; 6-ply, 13” x 13” floor tom; 10” x 7” tom; and 5” x 12” snare all made of quality Philippine mahogany. The Air Seal System produces perfectly round shells with powerful tone. The floating bass drum system lets you adjust the height on the pedal side of the bass drum to ensure the beater makes contact at the center of the head for maximum tone. Of course, once you use a Hip Gig kit you’ll never think of a standard drum kit as portable ever again.
